Midwest Tech Training was created in 2010 by Jerry A. Ferrell after teaching for Dakota County Technical College. What differentiates Midwest Tech Training is the class focus is always on troubleshooting. Our main goal is to improve PLC troubleshooting skills, not create full time PLC programmers. Additionally the instructor's complete controls background has always had a focus on troubleshooting. You do not want a PLC programmer who has never had to troubleshoot a machine at 2 AM teaching others how to troubleshoot. These PLC classes will help Technicians and floor level Engineers improve their troubleshooting skills, navigate larger programs, understand common PLC code and become confident enough to make changes to the PLC code. These hands-on and focused PLC training classes are the perfect alternative to lengthier (college) and more costly (vendor) options. Allen Bradley PLC's and motor controls are used to control real circuits, not just lights like other classes. Both CompactLogix/RsLogix 5000 and RsLogix 500 are used during the classes. If you are looking for a hands-on, engaging, trouble-shooting focused PLC class, please consider Midwest Tech Training.
